Even though he has a pretty important and often stressful job, President Barack Obama works out for 45 minutes a day, six days a week. His sweat sessions are more frequent than most Americans’, and, chances are, the routine helps him keep a clear head when the workday starts.
Morning exercisers are more inclined to make healthy choices for the rest of their day, and their sunrise workouts help keep their stress levels at bay, too. A physical a.m. warm-up is not the only trick for setting your day up for success; habits like meditating, journaling and even sitting quietly over a cup of coffee have been shown to increase the likelihood of waking up on the right side of the bed.
