Some pizza eaters habitually blot each slice with a paper napkin. As the theory goes, the napkin absorbs some of the pizza’s oil content, thus decreasing the calories and fat in the slice.
As it turns out, this greasy method really does cut calories and fat. Basing their calculations on a slice from Domino’s, the folks over at Labdoor Magazine figured out exactly how much the napkin ritual could save the average American over time, sharing their findings in this neat little infographic below.
